Healthy people don’t do cruel things to other people or to animals.  Respect for yourself is reflected in the way you treat other people and other creatures.

One specific area where people need to respect and protect animals is to make sure that gentle little animals like gerbils are not tortured by forcing them into a human anus.  That’s just wrong.

While it is a common practice among some people--and joked about by some, it is cruel, disgusting and sick.  You don’t want people like that forcing their will on you in any way, including their “in your face” efforts to destroy traditional marriage. 

Proposition 8 is intended to help protect families and children from such people.
